lying on a terry cloth towel
printed on it are fish and seashells
sound underneath my toenails and fingernails
the gritty feeling is hard to wash out
the afternoon sun's rays of light
warm my back
tell me to rest my head
and fall asleep
I've got a beach
two blocks from my house
where I can go to relax
I've got a room
with beads on the door
Where I go when I just can't deal
with people anymore
I've got a house
on a nice little road
we have lilacs and a basketball hoop
I've got a family
a brother and two parents
my house is full of love and respect
I've got a savior
who died just for me
he's given me all that I have
what more could I possibly want?
